Support our work
Housing Rights has been working to improve lives by tackling homelessness and housing problems in Northern Ireland for 50 years. Our work is just as vital now as when we started in 1964.
Over the years the nature of the housing problems we deal with has changed. What hasn't changed is how challenging those problems are for the people facing them. Find out more about how we have adapted and evolved by reading our history.
Last year alone we helped people deal with over 40,000 housing problems. You can read about the impact we have had on local peoples lives.
Most of us are lucky enough to take having a home for granted. However, there are many people in Northern Ireland who are not so fortunate. Demand for our service is increasing and more people than ever really need our help.
There are a number of ways that you can show your support for our work
Become a friend of Housing Rights
By becoming a friend you will help us support more people in housing need. Your continued support will help us realise our vision “when everyone has a home”. By donating £5.00 a month you can help us:
- Provide advice and representation to people who are homeless or in housing need.
- Bring peoples’ experiences to the attention of politicians and decision makers and
- Advocate for changes to housing policy, legislation and practice.
